Our lovely original illustration for this Saint Bernadette Prayer Pillowcase features the humble young Basque girl whom Our Lady visited at Lourdes 18 times. We asked our artist to place Bernadette in front of a grotto to represent where the apparitions took place and we love his thoughtful composition! Look close and you'll find Our Lady's outline on the grotto wall. Bernadette, rosary in hand, looks so serene.
Our Saint Bernadette Prayer Pillowcase shares a reminder of the peace we receive from following God's will, even in the most peculiar circumstances. More about Saint Bernadette:
Bernadette Soubirous wasn't always called the "Princess of Lourdes." In fact, this Basque girl who could barely read and write once lived with her family in an abandoned jail cell! One day during a vision of the Virgin Mary at the grotto Our Lady told Bernadette to dig in the dirt and drink the trickle of water that appeared. Bernadette faithfully followed Mary's instructions and by the next day the trickle had turned into a free-flowing spring! Not only was a chapel built there in fulfillment of Our Lady's request, but the waters at Lourdes have been a source of sanctity and miraculous healing ever since. Would you have glowed with satisfaction under the publicity that followed 18 visits from the Virgin Mary? Saint Bernadette did not. Instead this humble soul escaped the "burden" of fame by joining the Sisters a few years later.

All pillowcases, regardless of fabric content, are sized to fit Standard & Queen size pillows and measure 20" x 31".

• Poly/Cotton pillowcases (we established our company using these) have a 2" hem and virtually zero shrinkage.
• 100% Cotton pillowcases have a 3" hem. This silky soft fabric has been pre-shrunk; no worries about shrinkage.
• Organic Cotton pillowcases have a 3" hem. Preshrunk with a soft yet crisp feel that only gets softer with every wash.

We are happy to say that we print only on pillowcases that are made in the USA, and we use inks that are certified safe for you, your family and the environment (Oeko-Tex Standard 100).

Shipping costs seem to always be on the rise. We try our hardest to keep these costs at a minimum for you.

• We use the US Postal Service to ship both Domestic and International orders.
• Orders ship via either USPS First Class or Priority Mail, depending on their weight.
• Shipping is automatically calculated in your Shopping Cart. You can see that cost when you click "Get shipping estimates" and provide your location information.
• Overseas customers: we're here to help you choose the most economical shipping and make sure you know the cost.

Returns

We want you to be thrilled with the Prayer Pillowcases you receive. If there is a problem with your order please contact us asap so we can make it right.
Refunds & Exchanges: To exchange a product or receive a refund please return it to us within 30 days of purchase in the condition it arrived to you: neatly folded and packaged, unwashed and unsoiled.

Sorry, but we do not accept returns of personalized Prayer Pillowcases (unless we made a mistake personalizing it in which case we'll send you a replacement free of charge).

Refunds for item cost will be made in the same way your original payment was. Shipping costs are not refundable.
